Hi guys! I thought I would show you another layout I created in my Gardener's Notebook today! I am creating this notebook to keep track of plants that I have worked with in our yard, some successful and some not. Here is my process video for today's layout:
The traveler's notebook I am using is one that came in my Webster's Pages Color Crush notebook. This is what my cover looks like:
Here is the layout I created today:
This shows the flower tag turned:
My formula in this notebook is simple: one photo layered on top of gelatos and embellished with items from my Gossamer Blue kit on the right hand side. On the left hand side patterned paper to reinforce the paper from the layout before, and embellishments on top. Also the tags from the flower shop are adhered into the center of each layout to help me remember what they were.
A fun way to use up some word stickers is to create a border around your layout with them, and this works especially well on a solid color paper here. The banner and the tag add visual interest to the page, and the stamps are a fun addition!
Washi tape became an easy grounding for the journaling on this side, and the Hello Awesome might have just been a little scrapbooking serendipity.
I struggled a bit with adhering this little wooden hello to the page, and in the end it is both stapled and glued. The little puffy heart from Pink Paislee covers a little boo and adds a fun embellishment layer. All the good things here! Happy Friday to you! See you soon!
