Hybrid Scrapbooking | 2018 Project Life Week 06
Hi everyone, today I am sharing Week 06 in my 2018 Project Life album! I have used the Currently Photo Templates & Flair from Sahlin Studio, along with the Weekly Calendar cards and the February Keen MPM kit from The Lilypad. Check out my process here:
This is the completed layout for Week 06.
Let’s look at the left hand side in detail. Our stories for this week included going to a fun play for Date Night, going to a Robotics event in Winston Salem, and a couple of other fun photos from the week.
The layouts begins with the week card in the upper left hand corner. I almost always place it here or in the lower right hand corner. This makes it easy to find and makes for a repetitive element throughout the album!
The Currently Photo Templates are awesome for the supporting photos in this layout. During this particular week the kids got report cards, so I included one of them here. We also had a really yummy tacos at the Robotics event, so that was a fun little detail to add as well!
Date nights are awesome, and this one was extra fun. We went to see Noises Off, which is a quirky little play about all the mishaps that can go on behind stage during a particular play.
I also did a little organizing thing in my studio, and this photo of the girls was taken while they were helping me. I took apart all my chipboard sheets! Most of them are now housed in a tray on my desk, where I can see them and use them any time. I absolutely love it and we had the best time working on it together!
I’ve added journaling using the journal cards from the Keen kit. I’ve also added labels to the photos, as you can see on the right hand side as well.
I have layered the flair over the photos in the Currently template. I chose ones that reinforce the theme of that card for cohesiveness, and I love it.
The photo above is the stage set from the play. When events don’t allow you to take photos, snap a photo before or after so you can remember.
The foam title is from Dear Lizzy Serendipity collection from a few years ago.
