Hi there, today I am sharing December 16 and 17 in my 2016 December Daily, plus at the very end of my video Natalie shares what she has done so far in her album as well. Take a look!
So the foundation pages for December 16 and 17 looked like this:
This is the completed layout for both days inside the album:
Let’s have a look at December 16 in detail. For that day I wanted to add another photo from the mini session we had on Thanksgiving Day. My journal cards and the vellum wreath are all from Sahlin Studio Oh What Fun collection.
I began with this journal card, which was the perfect opportunity to write tiny love letters to everyone in my family. 5 people, 5 bullets, perfect.
The two center pockets remained as they were for the foundation pages, with a simple wreath printed on vellum and cut using my Silhouette, and attached to a 3×4 transparency. The number 16 card is also from Sahlin Studio, with a star added that is from Studio Calico.
This is easily one of my favorite photos ever. These are their true personalities and it makes me laugh so much! The journaling is added using Sahlin Studio Magazine Photojournalers.
Let’s look at December 17th here:
My photo for this day is of the holiday decorating I did on the fireplace mantel. I added garlands, lights, a few florals, and these giant paper stars that came from Target last year.
My middle card is vellum with the word art layered on top, which was also printed and cut using my Silhouette. I added the turquoise star from the Oh Joy collection, which is Pinkfresh Studio.
The last card is one I created using this beautiful red patterned paper in the Oh What Fun collection. I left white space at the top, and added the tag at the bottom. The turquoise letters add the loveliest pop of color!
I cannot believe today marks a week until Christmas! Just 7 more days to go, and I love this project even more every day. See you soon!
