December Daily 2019 Foundation Pages ft. Elle’s Studio

Hello Lovelies! Today I am sharing more foundation pages from my December Daily 2019 album! I am using the Elle’s Studio Document December 2019 kit, so follow along with the process video here.
There were so many amazing elements and add-ons in this kit, but as always I opened up my kit and pulled out my favorites. Instead of setting those aside for later (wink, wink), I went ahead and made places for those in my album! This way I know that my favorites will get used up, instead of being saved for another day.
I began the fun with this 2×2 page which was inspired by the colorful, fun transparency pieces. I tried to include each color – pink, red, green, and black, and then I also added a few wooden pieces and the acrylic hearts and stars. I also included the two die cut ornaments, and left those pockets unsealed so I can add a little something to the back of them when I am ready.
The green polka dot card definitely called my name, along with the wooden JOY word. When building foundation pages, I like to keep them fairly neutral. I think you could definitely use this card for almost any kind of holiday page.
When you flip the 2×2 page protector, there is a 3×4 page protector. I typically add two journal cards and leave two pockets available for photos, and I also added one of the 3×4 transparencies to layer over one of the photos. The FA LA LA LA card was one of my favorites, so I added just a few of the tiny red circle transparencies, and for an added punch I also included the little confetti card. One journal card, one filler card. A few little puffy hearts make it even cuter!
I also created a tranpsarency page of my own, using the transparency word pieces and scallop pieces. They are simply stapled to the transparency using my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. I am thinking when the actual day arrives I might add the day number at the bottom, or along side the DEC word.
I have another 3×4 page protector next to that transparency, so again I added a few journal cards to have in place. I loved the little tag with journal lines, but didn’t love it on the pink, so I cut one of the patterned papers down. I think it pops over the green, don’t you? I also layered a label on top of the second journal card, along with the heart circle. This is a great space to do a little stamping, or add the date.
These really are pretty uncomplicated so far, and give easy options to complete the page later on in the month of December. It is especially fun just to play with the products, layer them together, and anticipate the fun activities of the month.
