Project Life 2017 Week 13

Hi guys! Today I am sharing Week 13 from my 2017 Project Life album!

I created the layout first in Photoshop using the Paislee Press Pocket Guide No. 06. Papers and journal cards are from the Like For Ever Kit.

I chose the For Like Ever kit for the happy spring-like colors and it was absolutely the right choice for the happy photos I had from this week! To add dimension to my pages I used some of the printed elements from the kit as well, and then I added a few dimensional embellishments from Amy Tangerine and Elle’s Studio on top.

I had some photos that were sized different than the usual 4×6 or 3×4 this week, as you can see from this cute little sculpture Natalie made at school! I also had some Instagram photos, so these were layered over a plain white frame. I used that white space for a few tiny embellishments and a few words for journaling.

I also brought the frames that were included in the elements from the kit and layered them over some of the photos as well. I really liked playing with the white space this week!

There were a few other tiny embellishments from Studio Calico (the grid note and flair button) and from Freckled Fawn (the camera puffy stickers).

Another journaling idea this week was to number each of the photos and reference each sentence to their respective photos. It wasn’t exactly graceful, if you had a chance to watch the video, but in the end it works and it was fun! That is all that matters!
